He's had a makeover ahead of the new series

TV favourite Dec Donnelly has showed off his darker hair in the I’m A Celebrity promo pictures ahead of the new series.

The presenter will return to our screens this Sunday alongside best pal and TV partner Ant McPartlin to host the programme from Australia.

This week, ITV released official photos of the duo and the 10 new campmates heading into the jungle this year.

Two pictures were unveiled showing Ant and Dec on their jungle-themed thrones.

And Dec’s hair appeared noticeably darker compared to previous years.

The presenter was branded a “silver fox” during the 2017 series after sporting lighter locks.

In the new promo shots, Dec showed off a new glossy dark shade.

It comes as the new batch of celebrities heading Down Under were revealed.

American star Caitlyn Jenner, former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle are among the famous faces taking on the jungle.

The line-up also includes former footballer Ian Wright, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, comedian Andrew Maxwell and capital radio DJ Roman Kemp.

Finally, former England rugby player James Haskell and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway are heading to Oz.

The show’s spin-off show Extra Camp has a new presenting line-up too after Joe Swash and Scarlett Moffatt stepped down earlier this year.

This year will see last year’s campmate Emily Atack join Joel Dommett and former Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas front the programme.
