Dec Donnelly shares first pic in Australia ahead of I’m A Celebrity

It's not long to wait now!

Dec Donnelly has revealed he’s arrived in Australia ahead of the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.

The presenter, 43, has left his fans (and us!) very excited as he shared a snap to Instagram on Friday showing the view from his airplane window.

Announcing his arrival in Oz, Dec – who will be co-hosting the show with Holly Willoughby – simply captioned the post: “G’Day,” followed by an Australian flag emoji.

Fans rushed to comment on the post with many expressing their excitement for the new series.

One person said: “Can’t wait I’m so excited,” while another quipped: “Counting the hours!!”

A third added: “So flippin excited. Love Holly and can’t wait to see what antics you get up to. I will miss Ant [McPartlin] though.”

On Thursday, Dec, his wife Ali Astall and their newborn daughter Isla were pictured at Heathrow Airport with their luggage as they prepared to head Down Under.

The new series is set to begin on Sunday November 18 with Dec and Holly co-hosting together for the first time.

This Morning presenter Holly, 37, is filling in for Ant McPartlin as he takes the rest of the year off to focus on his sobriety.

Holly has yet to fly out to Australia but she’s already received her farewell gifts ahead of her new job.

The star shared a snap to Instagram earlier this week showing off a cake that had “Good Luck Down Under” written across it in icing, and decorations including a koala bear.

Holly wrote: “Mmmmmm yummy … my girls know what I like … thank you beautiful ladies,” and revealed her pals Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton gave her the prezzies.

A second post saw the star revealing a pile of presents from her group of friends.

She flicked through a travel guide for Australia with a mug with her friends’ faces printed on it and a cork hat, writing that her friends were “just the best” and that they had “thought of everything”.

Holly previously said that her three children – son Harry, nine, daughter Belle, seven, and four-year-old son Chester – will be coming with her to Oz, and they’ll have tutors while out there.
