Dec Donnelly and wife Ali Astall celebrate third wedding anniversary in sweet way

He said their unborn baby enjoyed it

Dec Donnelly and his pregnant wife Ali Astall celebrated three years of marriage on Wednesday.

Britain’s Got Talent host Dec, 42, took to Twitter to tell his fans they enjoyed a romantic evening out to the theatre.

Dec said he and Ali, who is pregnant with their first child, watched A Monsrer Calls at the The Old Vic theatre in London and revealed “even the bump enjoyed it”.

He wrote: “Anniversary night was a trip to the @oldvictheatre to see ‘A Monsrer Calls’. Simply brilliant.

“Fantastic cast, inventive staging and the music is incredible.”

He added: “Even bump enjoyed it (we think that was clapping going on in there!) #OVMonster D.”

Shortly before, Dec had thanked his fans for their anniversary wishes.

He tweeted: “Thanks for the anniversary wishes to me and Mrs D, much appreciated D x.”

Dec and Ali tied the knot on 1 August 2015 in Dec’s hometown of Newcastle.

The pair married at a stunning church in Elswick while surrounded by their close friends and family.

And it was definitely a star-studded affair as Dec’s TV pals Holly Willoughby, Dermot O’Leary, Phillip Schofield, Fearne Cotton, Marvin and Rochelle Humes and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly were among the guests at the ceremony.

The presenter’s best pal Ant McPartlin was his best man.

Dec and Ali are now preparing to welcome their first child together in September.

Back in March, Dec confirmed the news via Instagram after a newspaper reported Ali was pregnant with their first child.

Alongside a picture of himself and Ali on their wedding day, Dec announced the happy news.

He said: “Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages.

“The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.

“Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it D x.”

In May, Ali spoke at the BAFTA TV Awards about expecting her first baby.

She told The Mirror: “I just wish it would come out now, that we could fast-forward to having the baby. We want to get on with it – we can’t wait.”
