Emmerdale fans have long suspected that Daz Spencer has been hiding something…
And their suspicions were confirmed last night (Tuesday 19 June) when he revealed a horrible dark secret from his past.

In a glimpse of his shady history, Daz admitted he had killed a man whilst in the army.
Naturally, he is now worried that this is why his daughter Amelia has been kidnapped.
And fans seem to agree that he has every reason to be concerned!

In a dramatic hour-long episode which centred on Amelia’s disappearance, we saw Daz make the shocking confession that he had been responsible for killing someone.
After being grilled by the police over an email user called ‘Helmand2009’ who has been in touch with Amelia, Daz realised it was a reference to when he was in the army.
When he was released without charge, furious brother Dan assaulted him demanding answers.
And a clearly rattled Daz confessed that he’d accidentally shot someone on an army training exercise. He’s now convinced that someone is setting him up…
In the same episode, his missing daughter Amelia was seen by viewers for the first time since her disappearance three weeks ago. But who is the mystery girl ‘Beth’ she is with?
Fans were quick to assume the 11-year-old’s adbuction is linked to Daz’s past.

So, who is the mysterious girl that Amelia is with? And are Daz or Dan involved?
Actor Mark Jordon recently told the Radio Times that: “The only way Daz can heal the damage he’s done is to find Amelia.”
