Dawn O’Porter praised as she shares honest pic of ‘mum tum’ three months after giving birth

Relatable celebrity alert, people

Unless you’ve been living under the kind of rock that doesn’t even get Kardashian pregnancy announcements lately, you’ll know that celebs and their post-baby bodies are bigger (or more literally, smaller) news than ever.

Cheryl flashed her abs, Liam talked about her hotness, Binky was a tiny bit critical of the way she’d done it, Chanelle Hayes had her say etc.

Other stars like Serena Williams and Danielle Lloyd have also been pictured looking amazing soon after having their children too and there’s basically not a day that goes by without a headline about someone looking SUPER-SLIM despite having only given birth about EIGHT MINUTES ago.

Sometimes though, it’s nice to see something a bit more realistic.

Dawn has brought her normal, erm, normalness to proceedings with a picture of her trying – but not managing – to get into her non-maternity jeans.

Been there, my friend, been there.

And the mum massive then came out in support of her in her Instagram comments, obviously.

‘I’m in the same boat. You look amazing x’ said one.

‘Love this. My son is 11 weeks old and I’m struggling to lose the 4 stone I put on 😰’ shared another.

And a third said what we may have been thinking ourselves to be honest, which was: ‘Who cares if your jeans don’t do up, when you have boobs like that!! And your tummy looks amazing 😮 My baby is 6 months old and I am still not back in all my pre pregnancy clothes and my milk boobs are no where near as big! Xx’

Because seriously, those boobs.

Dawn had her second son, Valentine, in July this year, after they had eldest boy Art in January 2015.

The presenter/ writer has been praised for keeping things a bit more realistic than the white-washed walled nursery and artsy breastfeeding shots that some celebs wheel out for us (NO NAMES) (Catch us in the pub and we’ll give you names).

Dawn, 38, has been married to Hollywood actor Chris O’Dowd for five years and is the author of novels including Paper Aeroplanes and The Cows.

She’s known for being able to laugh at herself, like in this recent tweet: “You know when you feel you’re putting on a bit of weight and can’t quite work out why, then remember you can’t stop eating sausage rolls?”

Been there too, Dawn!
