Dawn O’Porter and Chris O’Dowd unveil their new bundle of joy

And they've chosen a LOVE-ly name...

Regular ED! readers will know how much we love baby gossip.

And we’re delighted to share the news that the O-Team – Dawn O’Porter and Chris O’Dowd – have welcomed their new arrival into the world.

The celebrity couple seemed full of beans as they posted a pic of their second son on Instagram, wearing a babygro with a big, yellow chick on it.

As it turned out, though, no one in the office managed to guess the name correctly…

Dawn and Chris named the little fellow Valentine – how lovely is that!

Alongside the photo – which was taken from the neck down to maintain the boy’s privacy – Dawn wrote: “Happy to announce I am the proud owner of this chirpy little chap.

“Born July 1st, his name is Valentine O’Porter, and he is so delicious. Two sons, my goodness #soinlove

TV presenter Dawn, 38, and Hollywood actor Chris, 37, tied the knot in 2012, and already have an 18-month-old called Art.

They announced that Dawn was pregnant for a second time via a podcast in January.

Speaking on Get On It!, the Scottish brunette – who recently hosted This Old Thing, a Channel 4 series about her love of vintage clothing – said: “I’m about to turn 38 and I’m pregnant!

“So I’ll be investing in a lot of elasticated trousers and dusting off all my old vintage tents, not unlike a lot of people in January.”

Earlier this year, a heavily pregnant Dawn appeared on Loose Women, and revealed that she hadn’t always felt maternal.

“Even at the start… I wasn’t sure I wanted children,” she told the panel.

“But I woke up one day feeling… fill my womb!”

“We planned the first baby. I think [Chris] would’ve been disappointed if it hadn’t happened.

“He’s a natural dad. He’s from good Irish stock – I knew he’d be brilliant.”

Chris once starred in a film called Friends With Kids.

And now that he has two little nippers of his own, he’ll know exactly how those friends feel.
