But we were shocked this week to discover that after all that pound-shifting Dawn has decided to give up on the diets.

The hilarious comedian, who turns 60 this year, says she has decided to stop calorie counting for a very particular reason.

She is scared she may lose her boobs.

I’m happy with my boobs. I do not want to lose them. I would never surrender them to anyone.

She says at present she is very “happy” with her bosoms and doesn't want them to shrink any smaller.

“I’m happy with my boobs. I do not want to lose them," she's said.

“I would never surrender them to anyone.”

Even though she had previously said that she's always been happy with the way she's looked at various sizes, she finally decided to take drastic action after she was told she was at risk of uterine cancer and opted to have a hysterectomy.

This meant she had to lose weight so that she could make a swifter recovery after the keyhole surgery.

“I just did less eating and more exercising and I’ve kept that up. But I have more treats now…" she said of her impressive weight loss.

“I’m not a big drinking person and hardly ever have alcohol. Perhaps it’s not sweet enough for my sweet tooth.”

Meanwhile, in spite her weight drop, Dawn says that she still loves chocolate and finds it hard to keep away from it.

“I have chocolate in the house but I avoid it because I like it too much and I’m weak-willed," she said.

“So it is best for me to see it as ‘against the law’. Except at Christmas time.”
