Davina McCall has posted a picture of a painful looking finger injury on Twitter and asked fans to come to her aid.
She revealed to her 2.77 million followers that she’s torn the tendon in her finger and wanted to know if pharmacies sold the plastic casts she’d need or if she needed to go to the hospital.

She then admitted she’d caused the injury when putting on her leggings!

Many people responded that all she needed to do was strap it up, to which Davina then replied she hadn’t actually broken it and had done the damage before.
Davina knew she needed a mallet splint – a slightly curved brace to help straighten the finger back out – but didn’t know if a trip to hospital was entirely necessary.

Many fans shared images of their own, similar injuries and urged Davina to get it checked out at the minor injuries unit.
She then revealed she was on her way to do just that as she couldn’t find the splint she needed in the pharmacy.
Her next status revealed she was waiting for an X-ray at the MIU.

In the clip she also told how she was “feeling grateful for the NHS”.
Wanting to keep people up to date with her finger’s progress once she’d been treated, Davina then shared a picture of the mallet splint to let everyone know exactly what it looked like.

Fans responded saying: “That looks painful – hope you get better soon.”
Another added: “Hope it’s not too painful Davina?! 😕”
“Oh no Davina!! So frustrating, thinking of you and hope it heals up as quickly as possible,” said a third.

But some nasty so and sos took the opportunity to comment on Davina’s looks.
“She looks like a drowned rat – anything but healthy,” said one.
Another commented: “I used to find you very attractive, but I feel you’ve lost too much weight.”
Her fans were quick to defend her, telling the haters to back off and leave Davina alone.
And Davina herself replied with a video clip.

Davina is no stranger to being trolled online.
Earlier this month Davina revealed on This Morning to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford that she was recently attacked for having her hair dyed!
She said: “I posted something where I was colouring my hair at home and I got a massive tirade of people saying I was putting hairdressers out of business by using home hair colour.
“And I was like, literally, my two sons and my daughter are keeping the hairdressing industry in business… I go to the high street to get their hair cut all the time.”
