Both David and wife Victoria documented the dinner out on Instagram stories, suggesting that the Beckham clan could go vegan.

The family were eating at pop-up burger joint Pure Filth, which serves entirely plant-based food – including their own signature burger patty.

The vegan burger is made with black beans, lentils and quinoa, and seems to have gone down incredibly well with David.

He posted a shot of his burger, with the word “delicious” emblazoned across it, and in a later post called the food “insane.”

Meanwhile, Victoria speculated over whether the kids will enjoy the food, only to confirm that they loved it.

She then shared a shot of David with his burger asking: “Will the Beckhams become vegan?”

Going vegan may not be all that big a step for Victoria – she already favours a dairy-free diet, and chooses to eat fish over red meat.

In an interview with Vogue in 2014 she even admitted she’d been vegan for a while, saying “I was vegan for over a year but I just felt like I didn’t have the energy that you need”.

Maybe the burgers will help with that?

She also had a birthday cake made entirely of fruit last year – sharing a shot of the watermelon confection to Instagram.

But going vegan may be a tougher ask for David who loves to cook Italian food, and even makes his own pasta.

Speaking to Yahoo! in 2015 he claimed that homemade pasta was his best meal.

“I cook fresh pasta and Ragu sauce,” he said. “I make the pasta by hand, the dough and everything. It’s my best dish.”

While they haven’t confirmed if they’ll adopt a completely vegan diet, it seems likely the Beckhams will be back for another helping of burgers.
