Danny Dyer ‘signs up to reality show’

This would be amazing!

It seems Danny Dyer may be following in his daughter Dani’s footsteps as it’s believed he has joined a new dating reality show.

The EastEnders won’t actually be a contestant on the show as he’s happily married to wife Joanne but instead, he will use his Cockney charm to narrate MTV’s True Love or True Lies, according to The Sun.

The brand new series will see six loved-up couples sent to a mansion in Italy where they will compete to be crowned The Perfect Couple and win £50K.

However, not all is what it seems as among them are fake couples, whose goal is to deceive them and steal the money.

The real couples will have to figure out who the liars are and each night vote out another pair.

And if they manage to vote out a fake couple, the prize fund will grow by £10,000 each time.

A synopsis for the show says: “The couples will compete in daily love games, designed to test their relationship, get an insight into everyone else’s and prove that they have what it takes to be crowned the perfect couple.

“At the end of each day, the couples will take part in a Love Ceremony, giving them the opportunity to choose the pair they believe to be liars.

“The couple with the most votes will leave the competition immediately.”

Meanwhile, host Maya Jama has said she’s “so excited” to host the show, which will air on August 6.

She said: “I’m so excited to be hosting my very own show on MTV this summer! It was so fun to film.

“There were some amazing couples with incredible love stories in there, AND some seriously good liars so get involved and play along!”

It comes after Danny, who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders, recently admitted he didn’t want his daughter to go on Love Island.

During his appearance on Good Evening Britain last month, he said: “I didn’t want her to do it. You fear as a father but it’s entertainment.
