The decision to spend time in the Celebrity Big Brother house by footballer Jamie O’Hara, has certainly had an affect on his ex-wife too.
Danielle Lloyd has hardly been out of the news ever since Jamie started to bemoan the amount he has to pay for maintenance.
The former glamour model hasn’t ever been that candid about her life but she has now revealed a shocking memory from her childhood.
It was only in the week, Danielle uploaded a selfie of her bruised face and now she has spoken out about abuse she suffered as a teenager.
She has often said that she has suffered anxiety and Danielle believes it was a sexual assault when she was 13, that was the cause of it.
Speaking to The Mirror, the 33-year-old revealed the extent of the ordeal.
Danielle says that it “stole her innocence” and has ruined “her relationships, self-esteem, everything”.
She recalled a time that a ski-instructor preyed on her in Milan: “That predator took my innocence away and I can never get it back.
“It’s affected the way I’ve been in relationships, my self esteem, everything.”
She explained that the incident occurred during a school trip to Austria.
The instructor apparently followed her to the toilets and dragged her into a cubicle.
It was there that he touched Danielle inappropriately and became violent when she resisted.
The star also opened up on Channel 5 programme In Therapy, about the incident.
She told the show: “The whole time I felt like I deserved it and I’d done something to make that man do that to me.
“I am the way I am today because of that episode.”
