Danielle Lloyd has opened up about the “devastating” miscarriage she suffered last month and revealed that she will try gender selection to conceive a much-longed-for baby girl.
Danielle was expecting her fifth child, her second with husband Michael O’Neill, and she admits that she thinks it was a baby girl.
Danielle is currently mum to sons Archie, Harry and George with ex-husband Jamie O’Hara, and Ronnie, who turns two in September, with Michael.

Two weeks ago, Danielle opened up about her miscarriage as she shared a post to Instagram, which read: “I may have only held you in my womb for a moment but I will hold you in my heart forever.”
Now the star has told Closer that she is convinced the baby she miscarried was a girl.
A “heartbroken” Danielle said: “I really believe it was a girl. This pregnancy felt different to my others. It was devastating when the miscarriage happened and I was completely heartbroken.”

Danielle said she was eight weeks pregnant when she lost the baby.
The star has been open about her desire to have a daughter and previously said she couldn’t imagine going through the rest of her life and “not having that”.
As a result, Danielle has revealed that she and Michael will try for a baby girl in “a few months”.
She said: “I really feel like I’m meant to have a girl. I’ve seen psychics who have said I’ll have one and I really believe in that.”
Adding that she and Michael have thought about adopting, Danielle said the pair will go abroad and try gender selection first.
The procedure is currently illegal in the UK.

She said: “We’re going to keep trying. We’re going down the gender selection route first. Michael saw how upset I was after my miscarriage, and I can’t put my body and mental health through another heartache by trying naturally.”
The model tied the knot with second husband Michael back in April.
