Danielle Lloyd reveals stunning name of her newborn baby girl – and heartwarming reason

It has special meaning

Danielle Lloyd welcomed her fifth child into the world earlier this month and has now revealed what her newborn baby girl is called.

The 37-year-old former model and her husband, Michael O’Neill, have decided to call their daughter Autumn Rose.

When was Danielle Lloyd’s baby born?

Danielle Lloyd announced the birth of her daughter on her Instagram on November 15. The star posted a black and white picture of baby Autumn holding onto Danielle’s thumb.

She captioned the heartwarming snap with: “Friday we welcomed our beautiful baby girl to complete our family. We are all over the moon and both mummy & baby are doing well.”

Autumn Rose is Danielle Lloyd’s first daughter. She has four sons, one of whom, Ronnie, she had with her husband Michael. Her other three sons, Archie, Harry, and George, are from her previous marriage with ex-footballer Jamie O’Hara.

Speaking to OK magazine, Danielle went into a bit more detail about the birth and where her daughter’s adorable name came from.

Danielle Lloyd said that she had been “going around in circles” trying to come to a decision on a name before settling on Autumn.

“I had a few names like Autumn and Meadow and I thought they were really cute,” she said. We didn’t decide straight away and I watched her change day by day.”

Eventually, Danielle and Michael settled on the name Autumn.

She said: “I just thought, the season is Autumn, she’s dark and tanned, she’s just so gorgeous she looks like an Autumn.”

The former model then went on to explain that Autumn was given Rose as a second name because Rose was Michael’s grandmother’s name. She noted that they hadn’t picked a “traditional name” for their daughter.

“I know it’s different from the boys and not a traditional name, but it just suited her,” she added.

Danielle claimed last month that she was “gutted” that Loose Women presenter Stacey Solomon had named her daughter Rose.

“Sadly, Stacey Solomon chose Rose, which was one of our favourites!” she said. “When I saw Stacey’s girl’s name, I texted Michael going ‘Noo! She’s called her Rose!

“It is a really cute name, though,” she added.

Back in July, Danielle  claimed that her falling pregnant with a baby girl was down to the controversial sex-selection guide, The Babydust Method.

The Babydust Method is reportedly a guide to conceiving a boy or a girl. It was created by Kathryn Taylor, who allegedly used it to pre-plan the birth of her son in 2012, then her daughter in 2014.

Danielle Lloyd claimed to have followed the guide “to a T” in the hope of having a baby girl.

“I tried it previously and got pregnant but I had a miscarriage,” she said. “So this time I was trying for a few months and nothing happened.”

Danielle admitted to having “bad anxiety” once pregnant about finding out the gender of her baby. She said she “burst into tears” when she found out she was having a girl.

With her daughter now finally here, Danielle told OK: “I feel on top of the world – Autumn’s so amazing”.
