Danielle Lloyd reveals she’ll use gender selection to make sure her next baby is a girl

After four boys, is it time for a girl?

Just a couple of weeks after giving birth to her fourth son, Danielle Lloyd has revealed she’s willing to use gender selection to make sure the next one’s a girl.

The advent of the new baby, Ronnie, makes Danielle the lone women in a sea of men.

With fiancé, Michael O’Neill, and her three sons from her marriage to Jamie O’Hara, Danielle is ready for some back up, in the form of a daughter.

Danielle is planning on trying for a fifth child sooner rather than later.

“If we did have another one I’d like it quite soon,” she said, speaking to OK! Magazine. “I wouldn’t want to be pregnant at 40 and it’s nice for the kids to be close in age.”

When asked if she’d consider ensuring a girl using gender selection, she replied she might: “I think so. I’ve always dreamt of having a little girl.”

The controversial gender selection process involves biopsies to verify the gender of embryos before they are implanted, to give the parents choice over the sex of their child.

Danielle said that it didn’t take long after Ronnie’s birth before she was thinking of her next child.

“When you’re in labour you think, never again, but just a few days later you’re thinking about having more!” she said.

“Having Ronnie has made me and Michael more of a unit, more complete as a family, and I think another baby, a little girl especially, would only cement that more,” she said.

Presumably she’ll take a little time to recover, but there’ll be a new girl in the brood before long.
