Emma Willis fans want her to dye her hair dark again

She's delighted viewers on The One Show - but concerns have been raised

Emma Willis settled in quickly as a stand in presenter on The One Show last week – but some fans seemed completely distracted by her bold look.

Despite the telly fave having had striking blonde locks for over six months, many of her followers remain convinced she looks glammer with darker tones.

Insta followers have previously blasted the dramatic ‘do for “aging” the stunning 43-year-old.

And going by comments left on a recent image shared on the social media website, it seems her hair’s shade is still coming under fire – despite her new ‘1940s’ style transformation.

“Don’t like her hair! Much nicer when it was dark,” bluntly remarked one of her 1.5 million followers on the snap of her sitting on the show’s sofa alongside co-host Patrick Kielty.

Another commenter, who also admitted in a more gracious fashion that her view was just an opinion, added: “Love your style Emma, you’re so stunning, but darker hair suits you more.”

Others felt the former CBB personality’s current colour was not as effective at highlighting her eyes and should switch back to being a brunette.

“Emma you are so stunning but that blonde hair takes away from ur amazing eyes, please please go back to your natural colour. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it,” said one.

A second person agreed: “Sorry but that colour hair doesn’t suit you. Go back to natural brown which enhances your lovely eyes.”

Even though Emma’s hair continues to prove controversial to some, plenty of other fans chipped in to let her know just how much they enjoyed her stint on the series.

One commented: “Emma you’re one beautiful lucky lady, you suit any hair colour and style.😊 Must watch the one show now you’re on it.”

“Emma you have been good all week,” concurred another.

And a third fan wrote: “You were great all week Emma top job!👍👏”

It was announced Emma would be stepping in to host during Alex Jones’ maternity leave back in April.

Guests she has welcomed onto the BBC early evening chat show over the past few days include Paddy McGuinness, Davina McCall, Kylie Minogue, David Walliams and Freddie Flintoff.

She is scheduled to return to present the programme next week.
