As soon as the man appeared on the stage, her security team and male back-up dancers grabbed him and then forced him off of the stage.

The Toxic star was said to be – understandably – petrified during the scary incident.

In the clip, Britney is completely unaware of the intrusion and continues performing her song Crazy.

She then realises what is happening as she’s surrounded by two huge bodyguards and asks: “Is everything OK? What’s going on?”

Panicking, she then says: “He’s got a gun?”

One fan who witnessed the incident recalled on Instagram: “A crazy fan jumped in on the stage while Britney was performing her hit song Crazy; she was a little terrified and asked if he had a gun.”

“Chairography. Hairography. An unexpected and violent stage crashing — had it all tonight,” said another gig-goer.

The star is yet to comment on what happened, and it is unknown whether the man actually had a weapon or not.

Before the show, Britney shared a collage of photographs from her performances on her Instagram page.

“Missed being on stage… ready for Vegas tonight! I’m sooooo excited to see you all,” she told her 17.2 million followers.
