Mel B and estranged husband Stephen Belafonte are going head-to-head during their bitter divorce battle.
It has now emerged that the former Spice Girl could be at risk of losing her children as social services are investigating their family life following the breakup.
Stephen’s Hollywood home has been raided by the FBI in search of firearms and according to the Daily Star, the LA Department for Children and Family would have been alerted, and may launch a full-scale investigation.
Mel, 41, shares five-year-old daughter Madison with Stephen, and has Angel, 10, and Phoenix Chi, 18, from previous relationships.

Mel wants sole custody, and has stated that she fears for her children’s safety because Stephen was “violent”, and even forced her to take part in threesomes.
Courtroom documents state that she suffered “emotional and physical abuse”.
The X Factor US star added: “I have tried to leave the Respondent many times. Every time I tried, the Respondent threatened me with violence.
“He threatened to release sexually explicit videotapes claiming I would never again work in the entertainment industry.”
Reports also state that police have raided a storage locker in Los Angeles to search for sex tapes of the celebrity couple, which have now allegedly been taken and hidden by Stephen.

Mel was initially denied access to the storage facility, reports TMZ, who claim that she had to go to the local police station, before being granted entry.
Stephen’s lawyer, however, has claimed Mel knew he was hiring the locker and even gave him the go ahead to put her belongings in there while their house was up for sale.
His attorney told TMZ: “Unfortunately, it appears that Ms. Brown is creating further hysteria and seeking meaningless Court orders. It will be clear to everyone that there are no sex tapes in the storage.”
Meanwhile, Mel has obtained a restraining order against former nanny, Lorraine Gilles, who the singer claims was made pregnant by Stephen while they were married.
The former childcare worker was banned from going within 100 yards of the singer by an LA judge yesterday.
