Corrie’s Claire King makes a seriously saucy confession!

The actress has been VERY open about her love life

Soap actress Claire King has made a pretty shocking confession about her sex life and how she plans to keep “romping in a field” when she’s 85.

The 54-year-old recently opened up about maintaining a healthy sex life and admitted that now she’s in her fifties she doesn’t “have any of the insecurities she had when she was younger”.

Opening up to Closer magazine she said: “Men pick up on that.

“I rely on experience rather than looks.”

She added: “There are times when you don’t want to be swinging from the chandeliers, but there’s also no reason you can’t be romping in a field at 85.

“It’s about releasing endorphins to make you feel good, and who doesn’t want that?”

The Coronation Street star recently revealed she’s quitting the ITV soap after playing Erica Holroyd for three years.

Talking about making the decision to leave Claire said: “It’s been a dream come true to tread those famous cobbles.

“I’ve had such a great time with the cast and crew, so it’s fabulous that they have left the door open for Erica to return in the future – who knows what adventures she’ll be getting up to away from the Street, she’s certainly not boring!

“As for me, I’m ready for another challenge. I’m not leaving the screens anytime soon, so watch this space.”

In other news, last year Claire opened up about her stalker hell on ITV’s Loose Women.

Speaking to the loose ladies the actress revealed the not so pleasant aspects of fame.

She told the panel: “There is that downside and, well, stalkers again, which I used to have a few… but I’ve got one at the moment which has been going on for a few months.

“I had quite a few when I was in Emmerdale and in Bad Girls, well I’ve had them most of my life actually.”

Panellists Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, June Sarpong and Jane Moore were concerned and asked Claire if she had reported anything to the police.

Claire replied: “There’s nothing I can do as they haven’t committed any offence.

“I’ve been here before so I know how it works but you never know how their mindset is, as it’s a different person – it could be some complete weirdo.”
