Another said: “He’ll be looking down on you feeling immensely proud!”
“Stay strong beautiful, he would be proud of what you have achieved,” a third added.
Samia’s mum Patsy Ghadie also commented on the post saying: “That’s so beautiful and so very true what a lovely poem. I miss him too sam believe me he is very proud of you as am I. Mum.xx.”
The poem reads: “What we’d give if we could say hello Dad in the same old way.
“To hear your voice, see your smile. To sit with you and chat awhile.
“So you have your Father. Cherish him with care.
“For you’ll never know the heartache. Till you see his vacant chair.”
Samia, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap, is now happily married to Sylvain Longchambon.
The star also has two children, Freya, seven, and Yves, one.
Samia revealed she tries to tell her children all about her dad but admitted Easter is always a “bittersweet” time for her.
She told the Mirror: “Easter is always a bittersweet time for me.
“My dad passed away on Easter Saturday seven years ago, so it’s a little sombre now. But because of the kids, we make the most of it. I’ll just be making sure my dad is in my thoughts.”
Meanwhile Samia shared an adorable photo of hubby Sylvain and her two tots baking cakes.
She wrote: “Been a busy night baking cakes for sports day tomorrow… #teamwork #familytime.”
One fan wrote: “Family time is best time ever!!! This is so sweet to see this tenderness towards Freya into your husband’s eyes.”
“Beautiful family,” another said.
A third tweeted: “Got to love family time!”
