Coronation Street drama: Battersby sisters unite to clear Peter Barlow’s name

The sisters are on a mission to get Peter's name cleared over assault accusations

When the slightly unhinged Chloe started stalking Peter Barlow, there was one thing she hadn’t reckoned on. Two Battersby women who want his name cleared.

Corrie fans will know that Chloe reacted badly when Peter rejected her amorous advances recently. The ultimate woman scorned, Chloe roughed herself up before making false assault claims against Peter.

She then tried to frame him for the attempted murder of his dad, Ken, who was pushed down the stairs by a mystery assailant. Yes, all this violence in sleepy Weatherfield.

Chloe even had Toyah convinced. In upcoming episodes, she and Peter have a blazing row as he confronts her about going through with the IVF behind his back.

Toyah retaliates by accusing him of being behind both Chloe and Ken’s attacks. Ouch. And she wants to have his baby?

Upset that Toyah doubts his innocence, Peter decides to confide in ex-wife Leanne who takes it upon herself to get involved in the situation too.

She storms round to Chloe’s ready to demand she drops the assault charges, only to be joined by Toyah.

The sisters play Chloe at her own game, threatening to report her for assault unless she takes back the claims against Peter.

Will Chloe take heed? Or will she go running back to the police with a harassment charge under her belt too?
