Coronation Street's Kym Marsh has revealed she was once shocked to be asked for a selfie at a friend's funeral.
Recalling the incident in her OK! magazine column, Kym, 41, said: "I was at a friend's funeral not long ago and I was asked for a selfie during the wake!
"I didn't even have a moment to say no as the person had jumped in and snapped the picture before I'd even got over the shock of how inappropriate it was!"
The actress, who plays Michelle Connor in Corrie, said she was also once filmed when she was in hospital with her little girl, Polly, seven, who she had with ex-husband Jamie Lomas.
Some people should stop and think how 'rude' they are?
"It was totally weird and I asked them to stop!" she said of the intrusion.
Kym's revelations come after her co-star Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Battersby, took to Twitter last week to express her shock after a fan asked her for a selfie while she waited to see her doctor.
An angry Georgia, 38, wrote: "Since when was it deemed acceptable to ask for selfies in the doctors' reception?
"You have no idea what I'm here for and it’s completely inappropriate, but apparently I'M the 'rude' one for saying no..."
Kym responded to Georgia's tweet at the time to write: "Oh good god!! X."
Georgia's on-screen sister also lent her support with Jane Danson, aka Leanne Battersby, tweeting to reassure her: "You are quite possibly the kindest soul I know. Maybe some people should stop and think how 'rude' they are?"
Meanwhile comedian Shappi Khorsandi joined the conversation to say she'd also once been asked for a selfie at a funeral like Kym.
While Kym isn't keen on being accosted by fans at funerals and hospitals, she is happy to share details of her life with her 797k Twitter followers.
Over the weekend, she revealed she had a lovely break with Polly and her two older children, David, 22, and Emilie, 20.

She was then back at work early this morning sharing an image of her getting her hair and make-up done before going on set.
She wrote: "Start of a veeeeeerrrrrryyyyy long and busy week!! Big stuff going on
