She’s currently five months pregnant as Leanne in Coronation Street.
And talking about the baby storyline has led to actress Jane Danson revealing some sad news.
The mum-of-two opened up about suffering a miscarriage.
“I kind of feel in a good place to say it, but I actually lost a baby a couple of years ago,” she said.
“So Leanne’s pregnancy does make me quite sad, and it’s been difficult at times, but it’s Leanne going through it, not me.
“I’ve got two wonderful children, so I know how lucky I am.”
Unbeknown to most residents of Weatherfield, Leanne is currently expecting Steve McDonald’s baby following a one-night stand.
His wife Michelle is also pregnant – and both tots are at risk of a paternal congenital condition.

The baby triangle is one of the most intense storylines Jane has ever been involved in – and she’s had a few!
She teased: “The Steve-Michelle-Leanne baby plot is set to explode at some point.”
Before this unravels, though, Leanne has to contend with partner Nick growing ever more paranoid she is getting too close to her ex Peter Barlow again.
The pair end up in a brawl on the cobbles on Christmas Day.
With Peter the philanderer behaving suspiciously and the identity of his ‘new flame’ shrouded in mystery, Nick jumps to the conclusion he’s enjoying special cuddles with Leanne.
Cue a big scrap – so much for good will to all men.
