Shona Ramsey is going to be left horrified in Coronation Street when she discovers David Platt carrying a knife.
The cafe worker will snap when she finds David’s daughter Lily playing with a flick knife.
Asking the toddler where she found the weapon, Shona will be horrified when the little one says it was in David’s coat pocket.
Troubled David has struggled since he was attacked by Josh Tucker earlier this year.
The vile mechanic drugged David before sexually assaulting him.
But this is the first time David has been seen carrying a weapon after his traumatic experience.
Shona will later try to speak to David about the knife but it goes awry.
Defensive David flies into a fury and the pair have a vicious row.
The hairdresser tells her than she has no right to lecture him because her own son murdered his late wife Kylie Platt.
Shona’s son Clayton Hibbs is currently in prison for the murder of Kylie.
He knifed her to death three years ago on the cobbles in front of the Rovers.
After the row David is going to storm out leaving Shona devastated.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday: “Shona has been David’s rock ever since he finally confided in her what happened to him.
“But when she finds out he has been carrying a knife she’s horrified.
“She tries her best to understand that David is still struggling with what happened but knows carrying a weapon is not the answer.”
