Have you no patience? EastEnders didn’t reveal Lucy Beale’s killer for TEN MONTHS.

One fed up fan tweeted: “I was bored of Emma before she left, now already bored about who killed her.”

Another agreed, writing: “Bit bored of hearing about emma Barton to be honest”

And a third added: “It was me I did it just because I’m bored of this daft storyline. Emma still annoying after death.”

Well, worry no longer pets as you’ll know who the killer is before Christmas.

Speaking to TV Times, Iain said: “We’ll find out who did it before Christmas.”

He also teased the possibility of the killer striking again before they’re caught and cuffed.

He added: “Will the killer strike again? If you’ve already committed a murder, you’d go to any lengths to cover it up – that’s what got Emma into this mess in the first place.”

There are currently seven official suspects (although we know from past soap whodunnit experience that this could actually mean nothing) and they all have motive for offing Emma.

Her sons, Ross and Pete, are both in the frame as is teenager Gabby Thomas.

Laurel Thomas recently became a late entrant as it was revealed she was in the village at the time of the murder, but had lied to police about it. She also may have had an accomplice in Bob Hope.

Adam Barton was arrested this week after Emma’s confession letter was found in his car, but viewers found out last night Ross was the one who actually found the letter first.

Cain Dingle and Moira Barton are also high on the list of suspects after Emma stole their newborn baby from the hospital. Moira also lied to the police, giving Cain a false alibi.
