Comic Relief viewers baffled by identity of one of the presenters!

Who IS she?

Comic Relief is known for having a line-up of popular TV presenters, but viewers were baffled when they didn’t recognise one of the hosts.

“I’ll donate an extra tenner if someone can tell me who the presenter is!” wrote one viewer.

“In the words of Nicki Graeme…who is she?” [sic] added another.

A third person agreed: “Who is the female that everyone is asking who is that woman on #comicrelief?”

The presenter was comedian Luisa Omielan, whose stand-up show What Would Beyonce Do? aired on BBC3 earlier this year. She’s also written a book of the same name and toured around the world.

Before the show aired, Luisa had admitted it was a “bit daunting” to be working alongside big names. The line-up also included Jonathan Ross, Lenny Henry, Russell Brand and Greg Davies.

She was hoping that her stand-up experience would put her put her in good stead.

“Hopefully it won’t feel too alien,” she said. “I feel like we miss that 90s style of television where it was live and raucous, and so I’m quite excited about bringing it back.”

Luisa, who grew up in Farnborough, Hampshire, added: “I’m excited to be part of live TV and there are so many fantastic people working on it, it’s a real privilege to be part of such a team.”

Viewers were also quick to praise her presenting debut: “Great to see a new, talented, funny female breaking through on to mainstream TV,” wrote one.

“So proud of you girl,” added another.

Another fan wrote: “I love @luisaomielan – new blood is needed – you go girl! – She’s on TV with some of the old greats and doing fab.”

Luisa took to Twitter after the show: “Loved being part of a team that raised so much money!,” she wrote. “Look how well our country comes together after this horrible week.I love you UK #Proud.”
