Come Dine With Me viewers demand truth as contestant disappears

No explanation offered for diner's sudden absence

Well THIS was a weird one…

A contestant on Come Dine With Me just randomly disappeared from the show without a single word of explanation.

In last night’s episode of the cooking show, music producer Rory Nicoll was taken off the show after hosting the party at his house – and no reason was given at all.

The 40-year-old appeared on two nights of the Central Scotland edition.

When hosting the meal at his place, he got into a bit of a strange argument with another contestant over which Take That singer was more talented…

Then when the show moved on to the next night, the scoreboard came up on the screen and a HUGE red cross was over Rory’s face.

What on earth went down that night?

Narrator Dave Lamb told viewers that Rory had been removed after “incidents that happened away from the dinner party” and would not be returning.

Ah, so the Take That conversation must have got out of control!

Viewers were clearly confused after watching the show, with one even submitting a Freedom of Information request to Channel 4.

One user hilariously tweeted: “Hello @BBCCrimewatch I would like to report a crime. @Channel4 booted a contestant off Come Dine With Me with no explanation? #whereisROry

Another added: “Rory got booted off Come Dine With Me tonight, what’s that all about?!”

And one other user joked: “Come Dine With Me in Central Scotland – they’ve removed Rory. I reckon it’s due to his appalling taste in music.”

C’mon Channel 4, we want more details!
