Coleen Rooney has paid tribute to her little sister who died six years ago after a brave battle with a debilitating brain disorder.
Taking to Instagram, Coleen posted a photo of her sis with the caption: “Forever in our thoughts. Love you Rosie. #6Years.”
Rosie passed away in 2013, aged just 14, from Rett syndrome – an incurable condition that affects language, coordination and movement.

Coleen, 32, remembers her sister every year and fans responded to her latest post by rushing to offer messages of love and support.
One follower described Rosie as a “beautiful little angel” and someone else wrote: “You never stop missing a loved one that has passed.”
Another fan in a similar situation replied: “I loved the devotion they as a family gave that little lady. My sister in law has a similar condition to Rosie but likewise is cherished & treasured.”
The snap was shared by Coleen’s husband, former Premier League footballer Wayne, who also pays tribute to Rosie every year.
Rett syndrome only affects girls and can have many different, serious symptoms depending on the person.
Rosie passed away at her home in Liverpool, surrounded by her heartbroken family.
In a statement at the time, as reported by the BBC, Coleen, Wayne and the rest of the family said: “We shall cherish forever the memories we have shared and the love she showed us each and every day of her life.”
Coleen was on holiday in Barbados at the time, but rushed home to be by her sister’s side when her health rapidly deteriorated.
She later wrote on Twitter: “So glad we ended our holiday short, due to her deteriorating & we was able to spend the last few days together with her an our family!
“Sleep tight Rosie Mc x. We love you more than words can say x.”
The Rooneys arrived back in the UK from America in mid-December for their Christmas break, with Coleen posting a sweet snap of herself and Wayne enjoying a grown-ups-only meal out in Cheshire with her mum and dad.
