Christine Lampard has revealed her two stepdaughters were over the moon when she told them that she's pregnant.
The presenter, 39, announced on Wednesday that she and husband Frank Lampard are expecting their first child together.
During Thursday's Loose Women, Christine opened up about telling Frank's daughters, Luna, 12, and Isla, ten, the exciting news.
"Oh my gosh they were just... excited doesn't do it justice at all," Christine said.
"I happened to say to them that, apparently at this stage, the baby can hear voices so, of course straight away they’re like, ‘I’m your favourite sister’… They’re chatting to my belly the whole time."
Christine said Frank broke the happy news to his daughters, who immediately contacted Christine.
She said: "They phoned straight away – they’re just so excited. They want a girl, that’s their only stipulation."
Frank's two daughters are from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas.
Christine told her fellow panellists that she found out she was pregnant "quite a while ago."
Oh my gosh they were just... excited doesn't do it justice at all.
"I found out quite a while ago, I’m actually 21 weeks…" she revealed.
"In that classic kind of anxious, kind of nervous superstitious way, it was like let’s get the big scan done and then you can open up and start to tell people. I’ve just been really nervous because you’re always thinking the worst."
The brunette beauty admitted she and Frank weren't actively trying to get pregnant and it was more a case of "let's see what happens."
"I’m clearly not 18 any more so we weren’t sure it was going to happen," she said.
"We’ve just had the loveliest time between the two of us, going 'oh my gosh I think it’s going to happen, it’s happening!'”
Despite being ecstatic over the news, Christine admitted she didn't tell Frank straight away.
The star said Frank was working in Manchester when she took a pregnancy test.
She said: "I didn’t want to tell him because he was working, I didn’t want him to have all that craziness in his head – I wanted to see him, I wanted to have him back home.
"So that was it and on it goes. Gosh, it’s just incredible, it takes over your whole brain. It’s all I’ve been thinking about."

Speaking about being pregnant, Christine gushed: “When I had my scan, I lay there thinking that’s amazing, look at that little leg, that’s happening inside here.
"That’s just incredible!”
