Pregnant Christine Lampard has said she’d love to choose a baby name that was suggested by her two step-daughters.
The television presenter is expecting her first child with retired footballer husband Frank, who has daughters Luna, 12, and Isla, 11, from a previous relationship.
Christine told OK! Magazine the couple have been thinking about names for the little one, but haven’t decided on anything just yet.
She said Luna and Isla have also been offering suggestions, adding: “Nothing ridiculous – they’re all very good! And it would be lovely to pick something that the girls have chosen, so we’ll see how it goes.”

Christine also confirmed she and Frank have not found out the sex of their baby and won’t before the birth, saying: “I couldn’t care less, which is why the surprise will be so lovely.”
Their child is due in September.
Northern Irish Christine, 39, previously spoke about how excited Luna and Isla are to welcome a new baby to the family.
She told ITV’s Lorraine: “The girls are completely beside themselves, more so than I thought they would be. It does have to a girl, but I can’t guarantee that! They are desperate for a little girl! They’re constantly talking to the belly, constantly chatting and wanting to be the first name it says. It’s just lovely.”
Christine added: “[Frank] really can’t wait. A very excited daddy-to-be! I think because the girls are so into it as well, it’s a lovely unit. We’re all in this together and we feel very grateful.”
The couple chose to wait until Christine was past the four months pregnant mark to announce their happy news.

They shared the announcement via an Instagram picture featuring Luna and Isla.
Christine previously explained of waiting to share the news: “As anyone who goes through this [knows], you can’t help being a bit anxious. And I’m a bit superstitious, to be honest, as well. I kind of thought, ‘let’s get to the big scan and be told hopefully everything is okay so far.’
“I was just really tentative about announcing something and then maybe something happening.

“Of course, we know that can happen at any stage, but I did want to try to get as far as I could – and telling the girls [husband Frank’s daughters] and everything else.”
