Cheryl makes big decision about her return to The X Factor

Dun dun dun!

Cheryl last appeared on The X Factor in 2015 and due to her popularity Simon Cowell has reportedly been pulling out all the stops to try and get her back for this year’s series.

It was rumoured that he wanted her to appear during the judges’ houses section of the show and that he had offered her £500,000 to come back.

Although Simon denies that claim, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s been trying to get her back this year because she was popular during her time on the ITV show.

But Cheryl has all but crushed Simon’s dreams now as she has shut down the company that handled her X Factor wages and an insider says she will never return to the show.

A source told The Sun Online: “Cheryl isn’t going back onto the panel, even as a guest judge.

“She’s moving forward and currently has no plans to return.

“She had a great few years working on The X Factor – she won it twice – but currently, she’s looking ahead and the focus next year will be all about her music.”

Documents from Companies House also show that she has liquidated CherCo Productions Ltd which was the company that paid her salary for The X Factor.

It looks like she has essentially cut all ties to the show. Simon will surely be gutted as he was hoping to bag her for her first telly comeback since giving birth.

A source recently told The Daily Star: “Simon wants to pull out all the stops for this year’s show and bagging Cheryl’s long-awaited return to telly would be one of his top wishes.”

They also said it would be “telly gold” if Liam Payne joined his girlfriend on The X Factor as they are one of the hot couples of the moment.

The source continued: “Nothing’s decided yet, but bosses are very fond of Cheryl and when she’s ready to do something, of course we’d be interested.”

Poor Simon, he must be gutted!
