She’s been widely tipped to make her big X Factor return this year as Simon Cowell’s guest for judges’ houses.
And it seems like Cheryl, 34, will be returning in glamorous style after reportedly jetting off to France to join Simon for filming at a £10 million mansion.
Um, wow. Lucky for some!
According to Daily Star, the pair will be picking Simon’s acts for the live shows amid the comfort of the grand Chateau Diter on the French Riviera.
Si’s been handed the groups this year, so the massive manor will come in handy for ensuring everyone has a comfy stay.
Located between Monaco, Cannes and St. Tropez, the enormous Renaissance-style property just screams glamour, wealth and total excess.
So basically it’s a rather good place to show the X Factor hopefuls just what their future could entail if they actually win the show.
The property has two helicopter pads meaning Chez and Si can both catch their own choppers to filming if they really wanted to!
Cheryl is widely believed to have replaced X Factor stalwart Sinitta at Simon’s judges’ houses this year.
It would mark the second time she’s been a guest judge, after previously popping up at Gary Barlow’s judges’ houses back in 2012.
She served as a full X Factor judge between 2008 and 2010, and 2014 and 2015.
As you can expect, Sinitta, 53, was a tad ticked off by this development, given she’s been Simon’s right-hand woman at choosing X Factor acts for years.
Speaking to The Sun, she warned: “[Cheryl] needs to stay in her lane a little bit. I love you Chez but don’t even go there – not that I’m bothered.”
She added: “You can’t look like that, have hair like that, have Liam, have the perfect baby, the perfect body, the perfect face, be a pop star, be drop-dead gorgeous and take judges’ houses.”
Going one further in another interview with The Sun, a peeved Sinitta said: “I thought I was coming back but now I’ve heard Cheryl is coming back.
“Simon has been a bit quiet – on text messages and Whatsapp.
“I’m behind them 100 per cent. But Cheryl doing judges’ houses – that’s a little below the belt.”
Cheryl, meanwhile, has kept tight-lipped on rumours of her X Factor return.
She’s only just started creeping back into the limelight after taking time off while pregnant and following the birth of her son Bear in March.
But if she did come back, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise, given Simon described her as “she’s one of the best I’ve ever worked with” back in 2008.
