Happy anniversary ladies!

Cheryl has sent Girls Aloud fans into meltdown after she shared a throwback image of the girl group to celebrate their 17th anniversary.

The pic fuelled rumours with fans of a reunion – despite Cheryl and former bandmate Nadine Coyle said to have not spoken to each other in years.

Mum-of-one Cheryl, 36, shared the image on Instagram, which showed the chart-topping five-piece in all their Noughties glory.

She captioned the image – which featured Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Nadine – by saying: “Happy 17th Birthday GA” followed by laughter and crying emojis.

Kimberley immediately responded with a sequence of cry-laughing emojis, followed by the word ‘dead’ and a skull emoji.

Nicola also commented, by saying: “Someone’s feeling funny,” followed by more crying laughter emojis.

Many of Cheryl’s 3.6million also commented on the image – with many keen on knowing whether a reunion may be on the cards.

“DO A REUNION,” one pleaded.

Despite reports that Cheryl and Nadine – who’s currently braving the jungle in I’m A Celebrity – haven’t spoken, Kimberley, 38, appeared Loose Women and said that Cheryl “absolutely cried her eyes out” after stories surfaced that they were voting for Nadine to take part in Bushtucker Trials.

It was claimed that former bandmates Kimberley, Nicola Roberts and Cheryl were exchanging messages on a WhatsApp group plotting to vote for Nadine to do the trials.
