Cheryl has been pretty quiet in recent weeks as she prepares for her first Christmas as a mum.
But the former X Factor judge, 34, broke her social media silence on Wednesday night to congratulate friend Khloe Kardashian on her pregnancy.

There have been rumours floating around for absolutely ages that Khloe, 33, and basketball player boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 26, are expecting their first child.

But it was only last night that Khloe chose to confirm the happy baby news with an intimate Instagram post showing her rounded belly.
And among those sending warm wishes was Cheryl, who couldn’t contain her excitement at Khloe’s news.
Chez gushed: “Khloeeee!! Such amazing news. I could not be happier for you. You gorgeous soul! You are about to have the bets, most precious time of your life, and you truly deserve it.
“Congratulations, Mommy. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy and what a wonderful way to start the new year.”
It marked Cheryl’s first action on Instagram since November 30, when she caught up with ex Girls Aloud bandmates Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.
While you may think this friendship has come out of nowhere, the two ladies actually go quite far back.
Cheryl has been friends with Khloe’s sister Kim since 2013, when they were snapped enjoying a Kanye West concert together in LA.
She also has a connection to Khloe: while Cheryl was a judge (briefly) on the first series of X Factor USA, Khloe came in as a host for the second series.
And the two women have gushed about each other frequently over the years.
In 2014, reality star Khloe posted a photo to Instagram showing Cheryl pouting, alongside the caption: “My [Woman Crush Wednesday] is Cheryl. Sometimes you meet people and you click instantly. Her beauty is more than skin deep… I love this lady’s spirit.”
Cheryl then repaid the compliment the following year with an equally effusive post of her own.
Cheryl wrote: “Sometimes in life you come across people you just connect with. That was exactly how I felt when I met Khloe… I felt like I knew her already.
“She has such a big heart and very special soul… You are a special human being and I wish you nothing but love and happiness on your special day. And hope it continues throughout the year. You deserve nothing less.”
When Cheryl gave birth to her first child, son Bear, in March, Khloe was among the first to congratulate her.
Khloe said at the time: “Congratulations doll!!!!! God bless your family!!!!! I couldn’t be happier for you love.”

There were also rumours that Khloe sent Cheryl a £5,000 luxury hamper filled with Harrod’s treats as a present. Lucky Chez!
