Charley Webb has revealed her son Bowie has had his first day at nursery.

The Emmerdale actress, who is pregnant with her third child, shared a snap of Bowie, three, pulling a funny face as she told fans he was “so excited” about going.

Charley, who plays Debbie Dingle in the ITV soap, said she’s “so excited for him to start his little journey” but still “a little emotional”.

Alongside the picture, Charley wrote: “First day at nursery for this kid. After the traumatic time we had last time, I think he’s finally ready.

“He’s had his settling in days and he was so excited this morning to go and stay by himself. He waved bye and off he went.”

She added: “So excited for him to start his little journey and a little emotional.”

Fans were quick to offer support to Charley and many could relate to how she was feeling.

One person said: “It’s so hard, but so good for them too. He is too cute.”

A fourth commented: “Omg he really looks like you.”

Charley has Bowie and eight-year-old son Buster with her soap co-star husband Matthew Wolfenden.

The couple announced earlier this month that they are expecting their third child together.

Charley and Matthew have been in a relationship since 2007. They met the year before on the set of Emmerdale, when Matthew joined the cast as David Metcalfe.
