Catherine Tyldesley reunited with her former Coronation Street co-star Shayne Ward at the TV Choice Awards on Monday night.
The actress, who played Eva Price in the soap, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Shayne inside The Dorchester hotel, where the star-studded ceremony took place.
In the photo, Catherine looked stunning in a vibrant yellow jumpsuit from Outline as she put her arm around Shayne, who wore a black tuxedo and sported a beard.
Catherine, 34, captioned the post: “#reunited @tvchoicemagazine @shaynetward.”
Fans rushed to comment on the picture with many saying they miss the pair on Corrie.
One person said: “You both look amazing. Two brill actors,” while another wrote: “Beautiful. Miss you two on Corrie.”
A third commented: “The street isn’t the same without you two.”
Viewers saw Shayne leave the soap in May when his character Aidan Connor took his own life.
Aidan was engaged to Catherine’s character Eva.
Meanwhile, Catherine announced last year that she was leaving Corrie after seven years.
She said she wanted to throw herself into “new acting projects” as well as spend time with her husband Tom Pitfield and their three-year-old son, Alfie.
Catherine’s final scenes as barmaid Eva aired last month.
Catherine took to Instagram to share a snap of herself alongside Shayne on set of the soap.
She captioned the post: “Best surprise ever! This spoon turns up to surprise me! Missed you spud!”
Since leaving the soap, both Catherine and Shayne have been busy with other projects and spending time with their families.
Shayne has been filming for his role in a new military-themed sci-fi/horror film called Stairs, in which he stars alongside his fiancée Sophie Austin.
Between filming scenes, Shayne also spent time with his little girl Willow, one, as she visited her parents on the set.
Meanwhile, Catherine has been enjoying some quality time with her hubby and son.
And it seems she’s made the most of having some more free time by embarking on a 12-week training programme.
She posted two photos to Instagram, one showing her before starting the programme and another showing her figure now.
She wrote: “Nearly there!! This was April after my injury… vs today at almost the end of 12 week program with #EvilSteve @upfitnesslive@upfitnesswomen.”
Praising her personal trainer, Catherine added: “Super excited to continue on my fitness journey. Feeling strong.”
