Saturday lunch. Was supposed to be with the in-laws to celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary but due to the UK imposing senseless and damaging quarantine on returnees from France they had to cancel. Note: cases in France are rising because of mass free testing but a massive majority of those taking it are not sick, or even have symptoms #stopthemadness @cassola21

How did Carol McGiffin and Mark meet?
Carol and Mark have been together for 12 years after meeting at a Loose Women party. The pair married in a secret ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2018.
The couple attempted to get married twice before, but scrapped their plans after Carol’s sister died just days before.
Speaking to Best magazine, Carol explained she and her husband have made up for having a quiet do by enjoying several toasts to their wedding since.
She said: “No one knew we were going to do it, but we’ve basically spent the last year having separate celebrations with different friends and family, telling them all in person.
“Now they all know, we’re ready for it to come out.”
She added: “We’d booked a register office in London for 19 January 2017, but sadly my sister died five days earlier so, of course, we cancelled it.”
