Carol McGiffin warns what Meghan should REALLY be worried about on her wedding day

We doubt this will really worry Meghan, though!

Carol McGiffin has joked there’s only one thing Meghan Markle should be worried about on her wedding day – being upstaged by Pippa Middleton!

The former Loose Women star quipped Meghan should ask Pippa to wear dungarees to the wedding, after all the fuss caused by Pippa’s bottom when she acted as bridesmaid for sister Kate in 2011.

In case you don’t remember, Pippa was branded ‘Her Royal Hotness’ thanks to her slinky bridesmaid dress, which drew attention to her rear end.

In her latest column for Best magazine, Carol claimed she wouldn’t be watching Meghan’s wedding to Prince Harry live on Saturday because she’s too nervous!

Carol went on to list various things that could go wrong such as the weather, the fact “too many horses and children” are involved, or the fact Meghan’s parents may not know anybody else there.

But she concluded: “By far and away, Meghan’s biggest worry – if, indeed, she’s on the guest list – should be a very small butt… that of Kate’s sister, Pippa, because every single photographer’s lens is bound to be focused on it. If I were Meghan, I’d insist Pippa wears dungarees.”

Somehow, we doubt Meghan will do that!

There’s no confirmation whether Pippa and her husband, James Matthews, will attend the wedding, although she is known to be friendly with Harry.

Harry was among the guests when Pippa and James wed last year.

Former actress Meghan, 36, will tie the knot with Harry, 33, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday at midday.

That will be followed by a carriage procession through the streets of Windsor, before an afternoon reception at St. George’s Hall and an evening reception at Frogmore House.

However, the couple’s pre-wedding joy has no doubt been marred by news overnight that Meghan’s dad, Thomas, may not attend.

Thomas was quoted as telling US website TMZ he would not fly to the UK for the wedding following allegations he’d worked with a picture agency on staged photos.

The photos included Thomas being measured for a suit and browsing pics of Meghan and Harry at an internet cafe in Mexico.

He reportedly said he wouldn’t attend out of fear of further embarrassing Meghan and the royal family.

In response, Kensington Palace issued a statement saying: “This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding.

“She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle in this difficult situation.”

The palace did not confirm that Thomas will definitely not attend.

Meanwhile, Meghan’s half-sister Samantha, who she has not seen in ten years, has insisted she was the one who encouraged Thomas to work with the picture agency.

Samantha told ITV’s Loose Women she urged Thomas to stage the pictures so he could be shown in a more positive light, following the previous publication of unflattering images of him.
