He sadly passed away aged just 28

Model Cara Delevingne has paid tribute to skateboarder Dylan Rieder, who died aged 28 from complications with leukaemia.

There had been rumours that he was suffering from the disease but Dylan, who was also a model, never officially announced that he was suffering.

Dylan’s passing was announced by his manager on Jenkem Magazine’s Facebook page.

He wrote: “Today, October 12th, 2016, surrounded by family and friends, Dylan Joseph Rieder passed away due to complications with Leukemia.

“His passion for life, art, music, fashion and skateboarding has always been contagious.

“Dylan will be remembered by all as a loving son, brother and friend.

“In lieu of sending flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dylan’s memory to Dr. Stephen Forman.”

The skateboarding pro was well loved in the world of celebrity, with tributes pouring in, including from Ozzy Osbourne.

Cara Delevingne took to Instagram following his tragic death, to mourn her “incredible” friend.

Cara wrote with her Instagram post: “One of the kindest, most down to down, incredible human beings I have ever encountered. You will be so missed by so many people. Ride and Rest In Peace Dylan Rieder @swankfuck_inc ❤️💔❤️💔❤️”
