Dancing On Ice’s Candice Brown adopts This Morning’s dog

This might be the sweetest story ever

If you were watching This Morning last week, you might remember an adorable segment on re-homing rescue puppies.

And now the presenters have revealed how Bake Off winner and former Dancing On Ice contestant Candice Brown adopted one of the dogs they featured!

Presenters Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes confirmed the reality star had fallen for little Many, and followed up with the shelter, Many Tears Animal Rescue.

Rochelle – who is covering Holly Willoughby on the sofa – explained, “Candice has given the 8-week-old pup a home. She’s actually renamed him Albus and says she’s already fallen in love.

“And I have to say that’s very easy, because I was in last week doing fashion, and if it wasn’t Candice, it was almost me!”

Phillip added that Candice, 33, drove all the way to Wales to collect the little guy.

He said: “We love that, and that’s a very happy ending and we are of course doing this all throughout the year – attempting to re-home 52 dogs.”

Candice – who appeared on the last series of Dancing On Ice – later confirmed the news herself on Instagram, with a series of sweet pics with Albus.

She wrote: “@manytearsrescue thank you for everything you do and thank you for bringing this little sausage into our lives!

“You may have seen ‘Many’ on @thismorning last week- well I did too and fell in love 😍 He was reserved but that fell through and they contacted us- it was fate! We did a 10 hour round trip yesterday and brought him home – now to be known as Albus, Albus the magic pug!”

She added that he was already feeling at home, explaining: “He has settled in perfectly and @dennismcpugface and Sybil love their little wonky brother already. He has got a very poorly front leg but that doesn’t stop him doing pug spins and causing mischief!

“We will find the best care and vet and get him everything he needs to live a healthy and very happy life!! This is the reason right here PLEASE THINK ABOUT RESCUING RATHER THAN BUYING! Adopt don’t shop because it’s honestly the best thing you will do ❤️.”

She also shared This Morning’s Instagram post.

It was captioned: “Remember Many, the little pug with the bad leg looking for a home on last week’s show? Well he’s found his forever home with Bake Off’s @candicebrown who officially adopted him yesterday! Oh, and he now goes by ‘Albus’ 😍 #thismorning #pugsofinstagram #adoptdontshop #rescuedog.”

The TV star’s 199k followers loved the happy news.

One commented: “Oh this is FANTASTIC Candice soo cute and adorable!! Xxx.”

Another added: “Awh fantastic news, saw him on this morning last week, so pleased he has found his forever home.”
