It’s now been two months since the Charmed actress revealed that she is cancer free and in remission.

Taking some time away with her other half, Shannen, who got married in 2011, went to beautiful Tulum in Mexico.

The Beverly Hills 90210 star has shared her tough journey with her followers during cancer treatments and documented how it changed her body dramatically.

Not scared of sharing the truth, she often uploaded posts about her “fight” and revealed how “radiation is frightening”.

A photo of herself sat down about to start radiation shows the dramatic difference in appearance to how she looks now.

Back in November last year, she wrote: “First day of radiation treatment. I look like I’m about to make a run for it which is accurate. Radiation is frightening to me. Something about not being able to see the laser, see the treatment and having this machine moving around you just scares me.”

Adding: “I’m sure I’ll get used to it but right now…. I hate it. #radiation#radiationmondaysucks#stillfightinglikeagirl”.

In April, she shared the news that she was cancer-free after two years of fighting. She was diagnosed in March 2015.

In a touching post, she wrote: “Moments. They happen. Today was and is a moment,” she began. “What does remission mean? I heard that word and have no idea how to react. Good news? YES.

“Overwhelming. YES. Now more waiting. As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial. Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me. So with a heart that is certainly lighter, I wait.

“In the meantime, decisions. Reconstruction which is several surgeries. Decision on taking a pill for the next five years that comes with its own set of problems and side effects. I am blessed, I know that. But for now…. remission. I’m going to just breathe.”
