Holly Willoughby to feature live birth on ITV’s This Morning

This could bring new life to This Morning

Holly Willoughby may be known as a woman of many talents but this latest TV idea may stretch her powers.

From being the popular co-host of This Morning, alongside long-time sidekick Phillip Schofield, to being the verbal punchbag for Keith Lemon on Celebrity Juice, she has always proved a hit with viewers.

She has also successfully authored a number of parenting books but is seems that she is taking a step further on, by getting ‘hands-on’ in the maternity ward.

Holly has revealed that the ITV daytime show is planning to broadcast a live birth and Holly is going to be at the ‘business end’.

Speaking about upcoming plans for the show, Holly revealed: “We are doing a whole new maternity section.

“I am going on to a maternity ward and hopefully someone will let me speak to some women who are in labour to get a vibe of what it is like on a ward.

“There may well be a baby born on This Morning.

“I have never watched anyone else in labour.”

While Holly is heading in to hospital, her co-host Phillip has said that he is to swim with sharks for the show.

He revealed that this is something he’s always dreamed of doing.

He told the Daily Star newspaper: “It will be a bucket list thing for me and one of the things I said I wanted to do was swimming with sharks.

“There is no backing out now.”
