Brooklyn Beckham moans about “fangirls” at college

Celebrity offspring reckons they need to chill

Brooklyn Beckham is causing quite a stir at Parsons School of Design in New York, where he’s studying photography.

The 18-year-old had hoped that he’d be able to live a more low key life in New York, but he’s finding the female attention a bit too much.

“I like people from school but there are a few fangirls in the school,” he told The Cut.

“Sometimes I have to be like, ‘I’m going to be with you for like four years, so chill.’

He added: “I mean it’s gotten better. They understand and they respect it. But it’s just at the beginning, it’s such a shock to them, so it’s fine.

He’d previously mentioned that he’d hoped to lead a life out of the spotlight for a while.

“I’m kinda just gonna disappear and study for a few years and see what happens after that,” he said.

Brooklyn isn’t like your average teen, however. His mum Victoria was recently spotted picking him up from college to go for lunch.

He’s also been photographed while out with his famous dad David.

Brooklyn also recently attended his mum’s fashion show in the city.

He says his parents have taught him to try to be grounded. “My dad’s always taught me how to do stuff on my own,” he told People.

Brooklyn also said his famous mum and dad taught him to be “humble”.

The 18-year-old has been romantically linked to YouTube star Madison Beer, but says his parents are welcoming of whoever he dates.

“She [Victoria] always said she’ll like any girl that I bring back, or anyone like a mate. [They] are both kind of the same, they can tell who’s nice and who isn’t.”

The fashion designer was bursting with pride when Brooklyn got his A-level results. “We are all so proud of you Brooklyn,” she wrote on Instagram. “We love you so much and will miss you #yesiamcrying #emotional.”
