Blake Lively has welcomed her second child with husband Ryan Reynolds.
The 29-year-old Gossip Girl actress gave birth at a Manhattan hospital, reports Page Six.
The baby will be a sister for their first child James, who was born in December 2014.
No further details regarding sex and name of the child have been released at this stage.
But the newborn has already had a visit from her mom’s best friend pop star Taylor Swift.
According to DailyMail Swift was one of the first people to visit the newborn.
And a source told Us Weekly Lively’s sister Robyn had also visited the hospital.
It was back in April news broke the couple were expecting their second child together.
Lively debuted the first hint of baby bump while filming extra scenes for the thriller The Shallows on Lord Howe Island in Australia.
Lively and the 39-year-old Deadpool hunk will now be a family of four.
Back in February, Reynolds defended James’ name during an appearance on Good Morning America.
He said: “In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we’re not really breaking any new ground here.
“I mean, I didn’t call her Summer Squash Meadowlark, or something.”
Speaking in the past Lively has told how she feels very lucky to be a mom.
She said: ‘It’s tough when you get pooped on and barfed on, but having a baby is wonderful.
‘Even when it’s tough and I’m exhausted I think ‘I am so fortunate. When you are looking at your child and she’s laughing, it’s hard to do anything else.’
