Former Home and Away actress Jessica Falkholt is fighting for her life after a horror crash that killed both her parents.
The 28-year-old’s younger sister Annabelle is also in a critical condition following the tragic accident on Boxing Day.
Their mum and dad, Vivian and Lars Falkholt, 60 and 69, respectively, were killed in the head-on collision at approximately 10.45am on Tuesday morning.
According to 9 News, the sisters were airlifted to Liverpool and St George Hospitals after the tragedy on Princes Highway at Mondayong on the New South Wales coast.
Further news.com.au reports that Jessica and Annabelle were pulled from the wreckage by passers-by and police.
A third person – the 50-year-old male driver over a second vehicle – lost his life.
Police have reportedly said that one of the cars was travelling on the wrong side of the road.
It is understood that family members have been informed of the accident.
Jessica played Hope Morrison in the Australian soap last year.
