EastEnders have been very kind to their fans today – the BBC soap has given us a sneak peak of Mel Owen and Jack Branning’s passionate clinch.
The pairing is one that viewers have been expecting ever since Mel returned to Walford…
After all, they are perfect for each other!
In tonight’s episode of the London-based soap (Thursday 3 May), Mel finally gives in to the chemistry between them – and they end up kissing.
And the kissing leads to the pair spending the night together…

Jack hasn’t hidden his feelings for nightclub owner Mel. Ever since he first set eyes on her, he’s wanted her.
But Mel, who has been stung before, has been holding back.
However, after a huge row, the pair end up tearing each other’s clothes off!
Jack is left furious when he discovers the underhand way that Mel tried to get Honey to Billy’s surprise birthday party – and gives Mel a piece of his mind.

Reacting to the spoilers on Twitter, some accused the soap of being predictable, but many others thought the couple are meant to be…
