Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce reportedly on hold amid reconciliation hints

Exciting reports are emerging Stateside

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to have put their divorce on hold, according to reports.

A year after the Lara Croft actress filed for divorce, she may be second-guessing her decision, says a source to Us Weekly.

“The divorce is off,” says the source. “They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to.”

Could they be getting back together?

After the news hit, details emerged that they were constantly fighting. It was one particular moment where their son Maddox got into a fight with his dad that was the final straw with Angelina.

Despite her allegedly “running a smear campaign” against Brad, who was accused of cheating and physical abuse, it has been reported that “she’s still so in love with him.”

After the couple of 12 years separated Angelina, 42, and their six children – Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – spent nine months living out of suitcases in Malibu.

The family now live in a huge 11,000 square-foot mansion in L.A.’s Los Feliz neighborhood.

Talking to Vanity Fair in June, Angelina said it was a “big jump forward for us”, and added: “We’re all trying our best to heal out family.”

Her apparent change of heart could be that Brad has admitted his wrongdoings in a tell-all interview with GQ earlier in the year.

The Fight Club actor, 53, told the men’s magazine in May that he “could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka” but that he had now given it up.

Opening up about being a role model to his children, he said: “I grew up with a father-knows-best/war mentality — the father is all-powerful, superstrong — instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles.”

“And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it.”

A source also told Us Weekly that Angelina would consider taking Brad back if he proved to her that “he was committed to raising a family.”

“He got sober to try and win her back,” explains the source. “He knew he had a problem that he had to take care of. And that’s all she ever wanted.”

The insider also noted that everybody around them is convinced that they are going to get back together.

“It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out,” they said.
