With Christmas almost upon us, people up and down the country will be picking out their sparkly costumes ready for those festive parties.
But by the looks of things, it won’t just be clothes that’ll be adorned with glitter during the coming holiday season.
DIY retailer B&Q is selling a glittery paint that’s designed to bring a touch of sparkle to our WALLS.
And home-owners on Facebook have been getting in a tizz about its fabulous festive effect.
Manufactured by Rust-Oleum, the gloss paint comes in three different colours – silver, gold and purple.
According to the description on the label, the product provides a “durable and long-lasting glitter effect finish on a range of surfaces”.
I love glam! Add some mirrored furniture and it would be even more spectacular!
Which is not bad at all when you consider that it only costs £5 a tin.
And a number of people have been enthusing about the paint on the Facebook page I Need This In My Life.
One person gushed: “I love glam! Add some mirrored furniture and it would be even more spectacular!”
Another wrote: “Used this in my bathroom! As long as you have a base colour before you paint the glitter, it looks amazing.”
A third Facebook user added: “Looks fabulous – trying to work out where I can put it in mine!”
And a fourth person chipped in: “We’re painting my daughter’s whole room in glitter paint… I would do the whole house but I feel like that’s a little too extra.”
Stores around the UK have been filling their shelves with festive produce in the run-up to Christmas.
Earlier this month, The Sun reported that online gift retailer Firebox is selling a special gold, glittery cranberry sauce.
Costing £9.99 a jar, it’s infused with orange zest and vodka – so will add a bit of a kick to your Christmas dinner.
We’ll be bringing you news of more Christmas goodies as and when we hear about them!
