The EastEnders actor is supposed to be enjoying quality time with his family

A “boozy” Danny Dyer had a row with his wife Jo in Selfridges, London, according to onlookers.

Jo was reportedly shopping for cosmetics when the argument happened. “They didn’t look a happy couple at all,” a witness told The Sun.

“It seemed that Danny didn’t want to be there, and the more Jo wanted to see, the more annoyed he got.

“He smelt like he’d been drinking.”

Danny has been on a break from EastEnders since February. In January, he was seen “kicking off” during a drunken night at the National Television Awards.

There have also been reports of rude behaviour on set, which have been firmly denied by BBC bosses. His wife Jo has also rubbished reports that they rowed in Selfridges, saying, “We had a lovely day.”

Danny has just returned from break in South Africa, where he flew to recuperate from “exhaustion and stress”.

He and Jo, who married last September, have children Dani, 10, Sunnie, nine, and Arty, two.

The actor is reportedly planning to take Jo to the Maldives to focus on their relationship. “Since they got married Danny has been working non stop, they haven’t had a lot of time together,” said a source. “He wants to make Jo feel special.

“He’s very focused on his family. His time in South Africa has done him the world of good. Now he just wants to do lots of fun things with his family.”

Popular Danny joined EastEnders in 2013, playing the role of pub landlord Mick Carter, and is credited with turning around the soap’s fortunes.

There had been reports that he’d begun acting like “Lord of the Manor” on set, upsetting cast and crew.

“Danny has never walked off set, nor has he ever lost his temper or been rude to anyone at work,” said a spokesperson.

“Danny is an extremely popular member of cast and respected by everyone on the show.”
