Coronation Street star Bhavna Limbachia is in hospital suffering from severe gastroenteritis.
The actress who play Rana Nazir in the ITV soap took to Instagram Stories to thank her fans and the NHS for their support.

She also took the opportunity to assure everyone that she’s on the mend now.
She wrote on the social media platform: “We’re very lucky to have the NHS! Thank you to the doctors and nurses at Tameside Hospital for looking after me.
“A case of gastroenteritis and overbuild of acid in the gut but I’m on the mend. Taking a break from social media for a few days while I recover.
“Thank you for all the continued support and kind messages. On the plus side…I haven’t had to attempt to drive in the snow!”
Bhavna has had a busy few months, as her character is currently involved in one of the biggest storylines in soap.
Married Rana has been having a secret affair with her friend Kate Connor.
She recently confessed to her husband, Zeedan that she was in love with someone else, before he found out it was another woman.
He then outed her to her family, before accepting a financial agreement to stay in the marriage for a year.
It’s a big night for fans of Kate and Rana tomorrow night as the pair end up having a heart-to-heart and confessing their feelings for each other.

They then share a kiss which is witnessed by Zeedan.
