Britain’s Got Talent live semi-finals start with high stakes and Golden Buzzer acts

The line up for the first show has been announced

It’s time to get excited – the Britain’s Got Talent live semi finals begin tonight.

After weeks of auditions, judges Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden have chosen 35 acts to go through alongside the five Golden Buzzer acts who have already won their place.

And with the announcement the judges won’t get a say in who goes on to the final, there’s all to play for as the acts try to win over the public.

So who’s coming up first? St Patrick’s Junior Choir, the cute kids from Ireland are performing.

And we’ll also be treated to David Walliams Golden Buzzer act, singer Kyle Tomlinson, who impressed the judge after he previously told him he needed singing lessons.

Dancing PC Dan had the judges loving his energetic performance.

And Niels Harder’s comedy magic routine left them, and the audience, in stitches.

Empire Dance Crew impressed everyone with their routine that was the story of Little Mix from the beginning to present day. What will they have planned for the semi final?

Scary knife-throwing duo Tyrone and Mina’s audition saw Tyrone throwing flaming knives at Mina. Have they got anything even more dangerous in the pipeline for tonight?

Miss Treat Vibe’s cool rendition of Salt ‘n Peppa’s Whatta Man had Simon saying they “might be the greatest girl group” they’ve ever had on the show. Will he feel the same tonight?

And finally mind readers DNA stunned us all when they seemed to read Amanda’s mind, but it was the fact they managed to change their t-shirts at some point throughout the act without any of us noticing that really left us open-mouthed.

With two acts set to go through to next weekend’s final, who will the public choose?
